Texans Cut Six Players

The Houston Texans have released six players heading into their rookie camp this weekend. The following players were released by the team: Chad Spann, Running Back Ray Graham, Running Back Loyce Means, Cornerback Steven Terrell, Safety Rico Richardson, Wide Receiver (picture above) Phillip Supernaw, Tight End All five worked at the Texans voluntary mini camp prior to the draft.

Texans waive RB Graham to make room for LB Sapp

The Texans claimed outside linebacker Ricky Sapp on waivers from the New York Jets today since injuries have left them short at the position. To make room for Sapp, a four-year veteran, the Texans waived running back Ray Graham, who signed as an undrafted free agent and made the practice squad before being promoted to the active roster because of injuries.
