New York Jets Add Linebacker Ricky Sapp to Active Roster for Week 17 Finale
Prior to their Week 17 regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets made a minor roster move, adding linebacker Ricky Sapp to the 53-man roster after releasing receiver Eron Riley.
Sapp, a 2010 fifth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles, had been on the Jets practice squad after signing with New York in November.

The Jets have signed LB Ricky Sapp off their practice squad and onto their 53-man roster. Sapp, a fifth-round pick of the Eagles in the 2010 draft, has never played in an NFL game.
