WHERE EAGLES DARE
Riley Cooper's one-handed touchdown grab
Tweet Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper has been making some great plays lately. Last week Cooper and the Eagles almost pulled off the trick play of the year when he hid in the end zone on a kick return TD play that was called off. This week, Cooper made an unbelievable one-handed touchdown catch [...]
Eagles tried an interesting trick play with Riley Cooper (video)
During last night’s loss to the Saints, the Eagles were desperate to score they tried to fool the Saints on a kickoff return by having wide receiver Riley Cooper hide on the field by laying down in the end zone.
It almost worked. Check it out below.

Riley Cooper laid in the endzone on a trick play kick return touchdown that was called back
The Eagles ran a new perfect trick play against the Saints in their 28-13 loss to the Saints. Wide receiver Riley Cooper laid done and hid in the endzone during a kickoff, then suddenly stood up, caught a cross-field lateral and took it 93 yards for a score.
The only problem was that the lateral was really an illegal forward pass and the play was called back.
Poor Philadelphia.

Philadelphia's Riley Cooper tried to pull a fast one on the Saints last night
This was almost one of the sneakiest and greatest trick plays in a NFL game of all-time. Before an ensuing kickoff in last night's Monday Night Football affair, Philadelphia Eagles return man Riley Cooper crouched down in the end zone like a tiger in an attempt to remain unseen. Once the ball was booted off, Cooper jumps up and receives a (almost) lateral pass from his teammate...
THE LIFE OF RILEY
Riley Cooper hides in the end zone during kickoff
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this be attempted during an NFL game. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper tried to hide in the New Orleans Saints lettering in their end zone during a 3rd quarter kick-off on Monday Night Football in Louisiana. He did a pretty good job disappearing as the Eagles were able to pull off a “Music City Miracle” type touchdown. Unfortunately...
Riley Cooper Lays Down on Field During Failed Trick Play Kick Return (Animation)
Oh, Eagles. The Philadelphia football team may suddenly be the laughingstock of the NFL, but gosh-darnit, at least they're having fun out there. Trailing 28-13 with a minute left in the third quarter, the Eagles tried to hide Riley Cooper by having him lay down on the Superdome turf. Cooper jumped up, returner Brandon Boykin tried to throw a backwards pass to him...
Philadelphia Eagles: Training camp news and notes
The weather is hot and the days are long, but the sounds and smells of football are in the air. It’s time for training camp, and once again the Philadelphia Eagles meet at Lehigh University for their summer preparations for the fast approaching football season. There is not much to cheer about in Philadelphia these days. The Phillies stink, the Flyers have missed out on three of...
With Riley Cooper Injured, the Eagles Should Still Pass on Plaxico Burress
The Philadelphia Eagles suffered their first big injury of training camp when Riley Cooper fractured his collar bone on Saturday. It was the first day of live hitting, but Cooper was injured on a passing drill rather than during a live scrimmage.

The news of Cooper’s injury gave new life to the thought of adding free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress...
Riley Cooper Making Huge Mistake Selling His Escalade Via Twitter?
Nothing good can come out of this, right? Eagles WR Riley Cooper tweeted this afternoon: Selling my Escalade Ext 2010 with 11,000 miles. Let me know if anyone is interested(.) Maybe Cooper is just a trustworthy guy who really knows the sincerity of his 35,500 followers. Maybe this is some sort of secret code to pick up broads this evening. Who knows. But since he’s asking, get...
