My understanding is that Roman Harper now is signed through 2015, so he tacked on an extra year...
Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported earlier in the day that the Saints had renegotiated the contract of S Roman Harper.
Ian Rapoport reports that Harper actually received an extension that will add another year to his contract.

New Orleans safety Roman Harper has been fined a total of $22,500 by the NFL for two infractions during the Saints game against the Tennessee Titans.
