Raiders CB Ronald Bartell Won’t Wear Pads, Willing To Save Money For Fines
Starting in 2013, the National Football League plans to make it mandatory for all players to wear knee and thigh pads. The decision has rubbed many current NFL defenders the wrong way. Oakland Raiders cornerback Ronald Bartell said that he’s willing to start saving money now a year in advance to pay for future fines for refusing to wear pads.

Ron Bartell doesn’t plan on wearing leg pads, will save money to pay fines
Oakland Raiders cornerback Ronald Bartell isn’t happy with the idea of the NFL forcing players to wear leg pads starting in 2013. He said that he won’t wear them and that he’ll prepare himself to be fined for not complying.
