The San Diego Chargers also announced the signing of free agent RB Ronnie Brown on Friday.
This news comes just hours after they agreed to terms with RB Danny Woodhead.
Brown actually graded out pretty well as a third-down back last season, according to Pro Football Focus. Still, it’s hard to imagine him seeing a lot of playing time next if Ryan Mathews is able to stay healthy...

What may be the most interesting, is the development of speed that the new players have gained with the playbooks. Look to see who may be taking more of a leadership role more than other years. This...

The Philadelphia Eagles had a 3rd and goal situation from the 1/3-yard line against the San Francisco 49ers in the first half of their game today. Ronnie Brown tried to rush the ball up the middle to extend Philadelphia’s lead. But Brown hit a wall of football players, so he tried to lateral the ball to his imaginary teammate. San Francisco recovered the ball, and the fumble call...
