Detroit Lions backup quarterback Shaun Hill is recovering from minor surgery on his foot. Hill had the surgery to repair a “nagging injury” on his left foot.
The Lions needed Hill for only one game last season. Hill came off the bench to go 10-of-14 for 172 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Tennessee.

Dave Brikett of the Detroit Free Press reports that the Detroit Lions have already told Shaun Hill that they intend to re-sign him during the offseason and apparently, Hill would like to remain in Detroit. Backup quarterback Shaun Hill worked with the Detroit Lions' starters at practice Wednesday.
