The Carolina Panthers will enter the preseason with their kicker and punter positions both up in the air. That's an oddity around here. For the better part of 18 years the Panthers have enjoyed incredible stability with kicker John Kasay and punters Jason Baker and Todd Sauerbrun.

Jaguars draft Cal punter Anger in 3rd round

The Jacksonville Jaguars have made one of the NFL draft's biggest surprises, selecting Cal punter Bryan Anger in the third round. He's the highest punter drafted since 1995, when the Chicago Bears chose Todd Sauerbrun in the second round.
