Days of Y'Orr:
Toronto Maple Leafs
Days of Y'Orr would apologize for the lack of updates over the weekend, but we're not going to. Saturday was one of those days where the four of us were busy. Justin got whooped in hockey and then went to PAX East. Robb was doing wedding things for the big day in July. Jon was busy helping his doctor redecorate the office because Jon spends so mu ch time there they wanted it to feel more "homey" for him and I was busy being dapper as ****.
So I'm not sorry.
I'm also glad I didn't watch the game on Saturday night because I heard it was a ******* **** show. It was such a **** show that Claude has done something he rarely does and that's change the lines. Yeah, he changed the lines around. The best part about him changing around the lines is Milan Lucic is FINALLY dropped to the third line where he belongs.
My original preview had a huge Lucic rant, but no one has time for that. Everyone knows my feelings on the guy because he plays...

Milan Lucic is dropping to the third line in the new Bruins arrangements
The Boston Bruins are struggling right now, having lost three of their past four games. This has lead many of the Bruins’ faithful to deem this team to be the worst 20-3-3 team in the game. It’s not that bad, but after the hot start that the Boston Bruins had to open up the shortened season, their struggles...
So the NHL season is more than half over, and the Bruins sit
near the top of the Eastern Conference yet again. The B's have played some of
the most solid and complete hockey of any team in the NHL this year, resulting
in 43 points through 29 games played. Yet it can be argued that something is missing
from this team. Do they have a sniper that can bury the puck consistently as...
Bruins defenseman Matt Bartkowski is having a pretty good week.
The young blue liner was called up recently on an emergency basis to replace the injured Johnny Boychuk in the Boston, and on Tuesday, Bartkowski was given a contract extension. The club announced Tuesday morning that it had signed the 24-year-old to a one-year, one-way contract extension through next season. That deal...
By now, you’ve probably seen the video from Monday night’s Bruins game that appeared to show B’s assistant coach Geoff Ward toss his earpiece over the glass and into a fan’s beer.
Well, turns out that’s not exactly how it went down.
As Ward explained to BostonBruinsTV, the object in question was actually a smelling salt lofted accidentally into the crowd by Bruins forward...
Patrice Bergeron showed unrelenting effort in the third period against the Maple Leafs as the Bruins trailed 2-1 on Monday night.
The B’s showed increased intensity after their first goal by Milan Lucic in the first period, and carried that momentum into the third, when their next opportunity presented itself.
Bergeron scored the equalizing goal after playing solid defense, then...

The Bruins” recent struggles have forced Claude Julien’s hand. The B’s head coach made some significant line changes heading into Monday nights game against the Maple Leafs.
Julien moved Daniel Paille to a line with Patrice Bergeron and Tyler Seguin, making that line dangerous with its speed. Paille told Naoko Funayama that they plan to use that speed to their advantage....
Tuukka Rask made 23 saves in the Bruins’ shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday night.
That defensive performance anchored the team’s rallying effort in which they came back from a 2-0 deficit to win. The B’s were finally able to show some much-needed aggressiveness in the matchup, reminding fans of the character of the team, which has struggled to capitalize on offensive...
The Bruins have had a tough go at capitalizing on offensive opportunities and winning games as of late. With several key injuries, they also lack depth on defense.
After finishing with a disappointing 1-3 record on their most recent road trip, the B’s found a bit of spark at the end of their home-and-home series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, with a come-from-behind 3-2 win at...
Dougie Hamilton is the Bruins’ youngest player, and he’s also the only one on the active roster that was born in the hockey-crazed city of Toronto.
Not only was the rookie defenseman born in Ontario’s capital, he’s spent almost his entire life in the area, attending Governor Simcoe Secondary School in nearby St. Catharine’s and playing junior hockey for the hometown Niagara...
The Bruins’ loss Saturday night to the Maple Leafs was a tough pill to swallow. The B’s put forth a solid effort, but weren’t able to capitalize on their opportunities in front of the net.
On top of their offensive woes, the Bruins got caught on their heels in transition, which opened up another can of worms. In the video above, Bruins center Rich Peverley thinks his teammates...
Bruins fans might be getting antsy as the NHL trade deadline nears, but the front office isn’t waiting around to make any moves. Not trades, mind you, but moves nonetheless.
Claude Julien has shook up the B’s forward lines heading into Monday night’s game against the Maple Leafs, ostensibly to shake the team out of its collective goal-scoring funk. While it’s not the huge...
Monday, March 25 vs. Toronto 7:00 pm
The Bruins roll out their newly formed lines after one day of practice, and the first team that gets to deal with it are the Maple Leafs. Julien will most likely start Tuukka Rask in net after giving Anton Khudobin the start in Toronto. Expect a much better effort tonight than what the team put forth on Saturday. The team is pissed, from top...
