4 Blackhawks Prospects Make Team USA's 2024 World Juniors Roster

The Blackhawks selected Rinzel with the No. 25 overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft. Rinzel has 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) through 18 games in his freshman season at Minnesota.

Hayes was a 2022 third-round pick (No. 66 overall) of the Blackhawks. He's tearing it up in his third OHL season with 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) through 27 games with the Flint Firebirds.

Moore, who fell to the Blackhawks at No. 19 in the 2023 NHL Draft, is highly regarded by Chicago's front office. The speedy center plays with Rinzel at Minnesota, where he has 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) in 18 games with the Gophers.

Nazar, the Blackhawks' No. 13 overall selection in 2022, is enjoying a strong sophomore season at Michigan. After an injury wiped out most of his freshman year, Nazar is fully healthy and has 18 points (eight goals, 10 assists) in 18 games with the Wolverines.

2024 World Juniors: Chicago Blackhawks Outlook

Sam Rinzel, Gavin Hayes, Oliver Moore, and Frank Nazar are all cemented on Team USA's 2024 World Juniors roster after making the preliminary group a few weeks back.

Fellow Blackhawks prospect Paul Ludwinski wasn't as fortunate as he missed the final cut for Team Canada. Chicago also has two prospects on Team Slovakia's preliminary roster.

The 2024 World Juniors will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden from Dec. 26, 2023 - Jan. 5, 2024.
