The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed prospect Christian Hanson to a two-year entry level contract."We are excited to have Christian signed to a contract, and look forward to seeing him play for our organization," said president and general manager Brian Burke in a media release. "He is a very intelligent hockey player who has good size and a solid scoring touch around the net."
The son of Dave Hanson of the famed Hanson brothers from the move "Slap Shot", Christian is a centreman with the NCAA's Notre Dame Fighting Irish.I know things have been bad for the Leafs, but turning to fictional characters from a movie from the 70's doesn't seem like the solution. It's like that time I tried to hire Scooby Doo and the Gang to find the ghost that was haunting my house. Turns out it wasn't a ghost, I just left the radio on. Plus I had to discover that by myself. Scooby never returned my calls.
