Photo Credit: Sarah Fuqua A fifth round pick for the Nashville Predators in the 2009 NHL Draft, Gabriel Bourque is yet another example of how Nashville European scouting system is possibly one of the best in the business. Bourque showed huge advancements in play this season as his numbers will show. Despite his injury, Bourque is showing the kind of offensive promise that a fast skater and a goal-crease camper can use to help an anemic offense the Predators find themselves with on a yearly basis. From Then to Now Gabriel Bourque scored seven goals, 12 assists and a plus/minus rating of -2 in 2011-2012 playing in 43 games. He almost matched his totals from the year before in nine less games by scoring 11 goals and 5 assists in the 2012-2013 season. Bourque also came in second on the Predators in goals behind David Legwand with 11 (he did it in 14 less games than Legwand who played in every game of the condensed season).
