Bruins play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards noticed something interesting late in the second period Sunday. Bruins goaltender Anton Khudobin was sporting a new mask.
Pros Choice goalie mask maker picked up on Jack’s comment and made sure the Bruins announcer was aware that he indeed did drop off a new mask for Khudobin on Wednesday. Along with the giant snarling bear, the headgear also features an homage to Boston. A close look reveals the outlines of the Zakim Bridge on one side and the Prudential Tower on the other.

One of the strengths that the Bruins always touted in years past was the depth of their goaltending. While Tim Thomas was off winning awards and accolades, Tuukka Rask was right behind him, quietly matching the starter’s sterling numbers.
This season, without Thomas in net, it was Rask who had most of the pressure heaped on his shoulders as fans looked to forge ahead. However,...
It looked like it was going to be the same story, Bruins come out sluggish and lose a game that they should have won, but the Bruins silenced the haters as they erupted for 2 goals late in the third period to shut the door on Buffalo, and put a positive note to a rather bleak March.
It looked like it was going to be a tough night. Backup Anton Khudobin helped the Bruins stay in...
