Sean Avery was scoreless with a -2, as the CT Whale lost their seventh straight by the score of 4-2 to the Portland Pirates.Erik Christensen scored his first goal since arriving in Hartford on a conditioning assignment....while you can't point to Avery as the sole reason the Whale has gone winless since his arrival, it's obviously a toxic situation down there and I hope for the benefit of Avery and the organization that Sather can find a way to move him to another organization because even if Avery goes on a 20 game scoring streak Torts would never approve a recall of "The Grate One."...if nothing else, I'd like to see Avery work as hard as he can with the Whale to hopefully earn himself a new contract or at least a NHL try out this offseason.Speaking of former Rangers playing with the CT Whale, here's a piece from Native Hockey News on Wade Redden.Remember to follow me on Twitter & Facebook or e-mail me at nyrfan94...
