BOSTON – Jordan Caron played the Bruins’ season opener like he wanted to keep his spot in the Boston lineup. He’ll look to further his case Saturday night when he’s back on the B’s third line. Winger Carl Soderberg‘s ankle isn’t quite ready for him to return to game action, so Caron will get another chance to showcase his skills on the third line when Boston takes on the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. Caron didn’t get on the scoresheet in the Bruins’ season opener Thursday against Tampa Bay, but he did play a very solid game and did have a goal inexplicably waved off by a referee.
