The Boston Bruins opened up a 1-0 lead in the first period of Thursday’s game against the Florida Panthers with great awareness from defenseman Dennis Seidenberg and a strong move to the net by Daniel Paille.
As Seidenberg skates through the neutral zone, he notices that Panthers defenseman Erik Gudbranson doesn’t have his stick in the right position, so he makes a pinpoint pass to Paille, who holds off the 21-year-old blueliner and beats former Brunis goalie Tim Thomas with a stick-side shot.
