Found November 10, 2011 on Kukla's Korner:
from Bill Roose at the Detroit Red Wings website, Bertuzzi has been battling dizziness on top of a sinus infection that has kept the Wings’ forward at home for the last week. He said the dizziness began after he was struck in the face by Minnesota forward Devon Setoguchi’s stick Oct. 29. “It started in Minnesota when I got hit,” Bertuzzi said. “Played two (more) games and it kept getting worse and worse; lighted-headed, dizzy and didn’t feel myself. Then I got a sinus infection and I went and got my ears checked. Got a little bit of swelling in there, so I got some pills to try and get the swelling down.” Bertuzzi skated for only the first half of Thursday’s practice before heading to the locker room. “I felt OK. Then everyone came out and things were going pretty quick,” he said. “I don’t know, they said three or four days, the medication should kick in and hopefully I can get my balance and stuff back.” read on

This Mickey Redmond Soundboard Will Kill An Hour or Two of Any Red Wings Fan's Productivity

Usually when soundboards as awesome as this come along, it's from some third party with way too much time on their hands. This time, the fine folks at Fox Sports Detroit hooked up the Red Wings fanbase with their very own Mickey Redmond soundboard. Unfortunately, I can't actually embed the soundboard (if anyone has any idea on how to do that, hit me up in the comments...

Fabian Brunnstrom will likely join the lineup if Zetterberg doesn't suit up. Zetterberg...

Are Red Wings at a crossroad?

DETROIT -- Before they became the model franchise of the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings struggled for decades. They drafted high and finished low in the standings. Ownership eventually changed, Jimmy Devellano was hired as general manager and the slow process toward respectability and then dominance began. Since the 1990-91 season, the Red Wings have the best overall record in the...

When a Winning Streak of One Matters

By Rhys Richards (@RREsq) (Photo by Richard Wolowicz/Getty Images) Going into tonight’s game against the Colorado Avalanche, the Detroit Red Wings were 4-5-1 in their last 10 games. Fans certainly did not expect that record after the Wings came roaring out of the gates to a 5-0 start.
