Found October 12, 2013 on The Pensblog:
Just when you think you've seen it all, something like what happened in the third period of the Penguins/Lightning game occurs. To set the stage, the Lightning are on a powerplay. Steven Stamkos breaks the blade to his skate in the Penguins zone. Then, out of nowhere a linesman comes to the aid of Stamkos and pushes him almost 40 feet to the bench. The Lightning then enter the zone, and score the game tying goal. Hard to believe this happened. ROOT sports cameras caught it: What makes this even worse, is that Stamkos was replaced by Alex Killorn and he scored the tying goal. Also, Paul Martin bumped Stamkos there, and that allowed Killorn to get behind him as he flew off the bench. Overall, this would have been a major problem if the Lightning would have went on to win the game. They didn't, so it isn't really a big deal. But it is still kind of shady.

Stamkos gets sixth hat trick as Bolts trounce Panthers

Before Thursday’s home opener Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper pulled Steven Stamkos aside for a quick chat. There was no body language no sense of frustration or any other kind of signs that might indicate one of the league’s top goal scorers was pressing over not scoring any goals in the first three games of the season. But Cooper wanted to check just in case. “To...
