Los Angeles Kings
St. Louis Blues
ST. LOUIS (AP) The defending Stanley Cup champions certainly looked the part while evening their series against the St. Louis Blues, whose best move is turning the page.
The Los Angeles Kings dominated the second half of Game 4, powering past a pair of deficits behind forechecking that put the Blues on their heels, and have all the momentum in a series that's tied at 2-2.
The Kings' plan is simple for Game 5 Wednesday night in St. Louis: Keep the pedal down and play physical but smart.
"There hasn't been much difference in the games whether it's home or road," coach Darryl Sutter said. "It's all one-goal games and they're all third-period games and you just by shift by shift."
The Blues have a day to re-boot the system and still have home-ice advantage, by virtue of finishing a single point ahead of the Kings for the fourth seed in the Western Conference. The home team has won all four games, each by a goal.

ST. LOUIS In a quiet locker room, gruff answers were issued in clipped sentences.
"We lost an important hockey game," Jaden Schwartz said. "Frustration is definitely part of it. We live to fight another day."
"That's playoff hockey, Alex Pietrangelo added. "And we have to keep grinding."
"We had our chances, and we didn't bury them...
St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz didn’t take to the overtime loss too kindly on Wednesday night. Schwartz was backchecking at the end of a shift and his man, Los Angeles Kings defenseman Slava Voynov, scored the game winning goal because Schwartz couldn’t get back in time. Schwartz took out his frustration on the bench with his stick and the Blues now head back to Los...
Local LA news anchor Rob Fukuzaki of ABC 7 was in charge of reading highlights from the Kings' stunning Game 5 overtime victory over the St. Louis Blues. When it came time to read about how the time got to OT in the first place, Fukuzaki butchered Alex Pietrangelo's name, instead referring to him as "Alex Pad-dra-dello", or at least that's our best guess...
The St. Louis Blues are one game away from starting their summer. Based on how several skaters have played the last few games, some might have big summer plans they can't wait to start.
What's there to say? If you've been around here or if you've been a Blues fan for any period of time you should know what to expect by now. The Blues will raise your expectations...
Nights like tonight prove why it's so hard to be a fan of the St. Louis Blues. Leading two games to zero, the Blues dropped Game 3. Leading in Game 4 by a score of 2-0, the Blues fell 4-3. As we've seen countless times during the regular season, the Blues played a stretch of very strong hockey. Leading and looking to more or less put LA away, the Blues faded like they have...
The St. Louis Blues were confident they could push the Los Angeles Kings to the brink of elimination when they took a one-goal lead into the third period.
Then the defending Stanley Cup champions pushed back and this highly entertaining first-round series became all even again.
Anze Kopitar tied it with 12:46 to play, Justin Williams tipped home the go-ahead goal 76 seconds later...

There's never a true consensus of how a fan base feels. No matter what day of the year, a small percentage will be content while the majority believes the sky is falling and all hope is lost.
I, for reasons unbeknownst to me, have been confident...
