BNHL Updates, 11/10-11/12 Minnesota @ Detroit, Upsets Abound!

November 10th, 2012 Minnesota (6-5-2) @ Detroit (7-7-0) Detroit plays again tonight at home, as they welcome Ryan Suter, Zach Parise and the Minnesota Wild. Minnesota jumped out to the early and quick lead, with Pierre-Marc Bouchard (1) scoring with only 4 minutes in. He was assisted by who else, Ryan Suter and Zach Parise. Detroit continue to struggle offensively, as Nicklas Backstrom refused to give an inch in the second. Zach Parise (4) however, would find the back of the net against Jonas Gustavsson, who started in relief of Howard. Heatley and Spurgeon assisted. The third was much of the same, with Minnesota making it 3-0 from a Mikko Koivu (8) goal, assisted by Prosser and Setoguchi. Detroit would not go quietly, but it turned out to be only padded stats and a denied shutout, as Kyle Quincy (2) scored his second in two nights, assisted by Cleary and Krownall.
