Pro Sports Daily:
New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur is ready to return to action. When he does, however, hasn't been decided.
Brodeur hasn't played since Oct. 13 after suffering a shoulder injury in the first period of a game against the Los Angeles Kings. Brodeur tweaked the shoulder while attempting to make a diving save.
The 39-year-old is expected to start in one of the Devils' back-to-back contests - either Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs or Thursday against the Atlantic Division-rival Philadelphia Flyers.
"I felt real good today and if they need me (Wednesday), I’ll be ready,” Brodeur said. “It’s the hardest I’ve gone as far as reaction and competing and I was fine.”
Johan Hedberg has played in seven straight games in the 10-time All-Star's absence.
Brodeur is 0-1-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average so far this season.

- Martin Brodeur looked less than spectacular tonight, and it was quite evident.
