On the score sheet it will read; Cal Clutterbuck (10) Wrist Shot - Assists: M. Koivu (21) & D. Heatley (15). What a great effort by Koivu and Heatly down low to get the puck to Clutterbuck who shot the puck past the Varlamov. That is the 10th goal of the year for Cal Clutterbuck. I am sure that Adrian Dater head spun because his favorite Wild Player Cal Clutterbuck has scored.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild have struggled to stay healthy as of late, but they got one of their key players back on the ice Monday night.

Yeo: perfect timing for three-day break
The Minnesota Wild's current seven-game losing streak has been marked by a dramatic dip in the offensive output and by absences of key players, most notably Captain Mikko Koivu. The Wild went into the Christmas break on a 0-5-2 run while scoring only 9 goals in those seven games.

Wild find more coal in their Christmas stocking as Avalanche extend Minnesota's losing streak ...
Season's greetings everyone. I hope that you're Christmas holiday, whether you observe it or not was an opportunity to spend some time with your family. Av's Hack McLeod boards Spurgeon
Enough is enough, these kind of hits make my blood boil and they are unnecessary, the NHL needs to through the book at Avalanche forward Cody McLeod for his ridiculously stupid and dangerous hit on Wild Defenseman Jared Spurgeon. There is no reason this hit shouldn't command at least a 2-4 game suspension.
In the last 13 days the Minnesota Wild have seen Lennart Petrell&...

Wild-Predators Preview
Not even the return of captain and leading scorer Mikko Koivu could help the Minnesota Wild end their losing streak.
If the Nashville Predators are going to break out of their brief funk, they'll have to do it without their own leader.

Video: Avs’ McLeod hits Wild’s Spurgeon; Shanaban-worthy?
There are, as everybody knows, only two ways to get out of working on New Year's Eve: the first is to book the day off well in advance. The second is to do something stupid that gets you sent home.
Unfortunately for Colorado Avalanche forward Cody McLeod, with a December 31 tilt with the Anaheim Ducks just five days away, his only viable option was the second approach. Think...
