Captain Ryan Callahan collected his second career hat trick and All-Star Marian Gaborik had a four-point performance to lift the New York Rangers to a 5-2 victory over the host Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

Callahan scored his third goal of the game midway through the third period as he fired a wrister over Sergei Bobrovsky. The victory was New York's fifth in as many games against Philadelphia this season.

Gaborik picked up his third assist when Artem Anisimov tipped in his ninth goal of the campaign at 6:28 of the third period. Gaborik netted his 27th goal in the first period to put the Rangers up 2-1.

Claude Giroux deked out fellow All-Star Henrik Lundqvist on a breakaway and slid in his 22nd goal in the second period to tie the game at 2-2.

Callahan responded with his second goal of the game less than three minutes later when he tipped in a cross-ice feed from defenseman Michael Del Zotto on the power play.

The Rangers scored three goals on the power play to win their seventh straight over the Flyers and Lundqvist made 31 saves for his 25th victory of the season.

The teams combined for 110 penalty minutes and five 10-minute misconducts.

Wayne Simmonds had a Gordie Howe hat trick in a losing cause for the Flyers.
