The Montreal Canadiens announced they have swapped goalies with the Tampa Bay Lightning.  The Canadiens will send the Lightning Cedric Desjardins in exchange for Dustin Tokarski. From 2011-2012, Tokarski played in five games with the Lightning and posted a 1-3-1 record with a 3.45 goals against average. He was drafted 122nd overall by the Bolts in 2008. Desjardins was a member of the Lightning organization from 2010 – 2011. In two NHL games with the Lightning, he posted a 2-0-0 record with a 1.00 goals against average and a .968% save percentage. In 2012-13 with the Canadiens’ affiliate in Hamilton, Desjardins had a record of 7 wins, 13 losses and 2 overtime losses with a 2.94 goals against average. Tokarski has the potential to become a serviceable goalie in the NHL. General manager Steve Yzerman may have seen it differently.
