The Vancouver Canucks have announced on Wednesday that they’ll be without forward David Booth for 4-6 weeks with an MCL injury in his right knee. The Canucks are going on a 5-game east coast road trip that starts Thursday in Montreal. Booth suffered the injury when Kevin Porter hit Booth with a knee-on-knee in a 6-0 win by the Canucks. Booth would need assistance getting to the locker room. Porter said on Wednesday that he regretted the incident, but he didn’t accept blame for the dirty play. Booth has also suffered 2 serious concussions in his career. It looks like the injury bug for David Booth continues.
