Hopefully, Chris Mueller has a good plan for freebies with the airlines based on miles traveled as he is headed back to Milwaukee the day after he came to Nashville to sit out last night's game with Vancouver as a healthy scratch. This is his third trip up and down to the AHL this season.

It appears to be a good sign that Patric Hornqvist may be nearing a return and that Mike Fisher and David Legwand have moved past their flu-like symptoms of the past few days.

NASHVILLE PREDATORS REASSIGN FORWARD CHRIS MUELLER TO MILWAUKEE

Nashville, Tenn. (February 22, 2012) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Chris Mueller (KRIHS MEW-luhr) to Milwaukee (AHL).

Mueller, 25 (3/6/86), did not dress for Nashville during its 3-1 victory over Vancouver last night after being recalled earlier in the day.

After kicking off their final extended homestand of the season with a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks, the Preds look ahead to visits from the division rival St. Louis Blues on Thursday (7 p.m., 102.5 The Game, College Night), the San Jose Sharks on Saturday (7 p.m., 102.5 The Game, McDonald’s Family Four Pack) and the L.A. Kings on Monday (7 p.m., FS-TN, 102.5 The Game, Dollar Dog Night). To purchase tickets, visit nashvillepredators.com, ticketmaster.com or call 615-770-PUCK (7825).
