It's June. In many instances, the vast majority of the NHL-following media have been "on the job" since the NHL dished off its initial CBA proposal to the NHLPA all of four days after Zach Parise and Ryan Suter made their "decision" last July. Most of them spent July and August chasing CBA rumors, September covering players converging for training camps that wouldn't take place until January, and they spent October, November and December chasing down executives preaching CBA madness, players skating in Europe and others trying to stay in shape "at home" while worrying about an entire season being canceled.
