The recent streak of bad hockey the Lightning have played have caused some to question Anders Lindback goaltending abilities. But is head coach Guy Boucher the reason for the Lightning’s lack of success? According to Stu Hackel of Sports Illustrated, general manager Stever Yzerman may be pointing the finger at Boucher. Hackel writes the following: There have been rumblings for a while that GM Steve Yzerman, whose team took a step backwards last season, is no longer enamored with coach Guy Boucher. There’s no saying how accurate that talk is, but Yzerman rebuilt the Lightning’s defense and got a decent goalie, so should Tampa Bay not qualify for the playoffs or if he feels the season is in danger of going down the drain, Yzerman might make a change. This is certainly interesting. There are a good amount of reasons as to why the Lightning have been struggling. It’s hard to believe Boucher is one of them. Then again, we don’t know what is really going on in the mind of Yzerman and what he sees day in and day out. Win one, lose one. Win a few, lose a bunch. In short, that sums up the first chunk of the 2013 National Hockey League season for the Tampa Bay Lightning. For a team that came into the year with so much promise, the results on the scoreboard have been disappointing. If the Lightning truly want to view themselves as a contender now...
Two Lightning turnovers resulted in two goals for the Buffalo Sabres Tuesday night as they went on to beat Tampa Bay 2-1. Steven Stamkos put the Lightning on the board first when a rebound off a Ryan Miller save went right to him off a Teddy Purcell shot. Later in the first period, defenseman Victor Hedman was unable to clear the puck out of the defensive zone as it was intercepted...
Sometimes a spirited comeback effort just isnât good enough. Despite a three point performance from Steven Stamkos, the Tampa Bay Lightning were outmatched by the Pittsburgh Penguins, and fell by a score of 5-3.
Right from puck drop, the Penguins made the Lightning look like an American Hockey League team. Before the game was eight minutes old, Sidney Crosby had already...

Maybe if everyone speculates and guesses hard enough and asks enough questions to enough people, Evgeni Malkin's injury will heal itself.
If there even is an injury at all, that is.
Also, there's a hockey game today...
