Sometimes in hockey you can be outplayed and still come home with two points. So, the Bruins can just shrug their shoulders after Thursday’s 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators and be happy with a win.
Dennis Seidenberg hadn’t scored a goal for nearly one full calendar year before netting the game-winner against the Sens. So, when he revealed after the game to Naoko Funayama that Boston didn’t have their legs under them, and wasn’t playing with confidence, well, just chalk it up to a fluky night all around.
