Bobby Ryan scored the only goal in a shootout Saturday to lift the Anaheim Ducks to a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers. Andrew Cogliano of the Ducks opened the scoring, assisted by Andrew Gordon and Devante Smith-Pelly. Brad Richards scored his first goal since joining the Rangers with just more than two minutes remaining in regulation time, making it 1-1 and forcing overtime. Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, a hockey hero in Sweden, kept the Rangers close and rewarded the crowd with spectacular saves. Anaheim will return home with two points after losing to the Buffalo Sabers on Friday in Helsinki. This was the Rangers' second overtime loss in two days - the first a 3-2 defeat against the Los Angeles Kings.
