Pro Sports Daily:
Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla hasn't missed a game in five seasons, but he did not participate in the first day of training camp on Sunday because of a groin injury, TSN reported. General manager Jay Feaster said Iginla was kept out of the workout for "precautionary reasons," so, at this point, it does not appear he'll miss any game action. Iginla is in the final year of a five-year, $35 million contract. The Flames were also missing Roman Cervenka (blood clots) and Anton Babchuk (shoulder) on Sunday.
