The Calgary Flames made headlines today for their scandalous H1N1 vaccination controversy and then kept on sneaking around to get themselves a victory in Dallas.After being called out by coach Brent Sutter for his lacklustre play, Jarome Iginla lead the Flames with 2 goals and 1 assist, including the game winner as they beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 in overtime. Iggy opened the scoring for the Flames in the 2nd period and then set up Daymond Langkow for the tying goal with 49 seconds left in the 3rd period. The day's controversy continued for the Flames as they captialized on an obviously wrong penalty call in overtime. Dallas defenceman Niklas Grossman appeared to lift the puck over the glass from inside his own end, but on the replay it was clear that he was about a foot outside the blueline.
