(via Sports Illustrated) Darren Dreger of TSN reported that the Philadelphia Flyers and the Anahiem Ducks are linked in trade talks. Dreger claimed that the Ducks are looking for a center, which could be Sean Couturier.  On Monday night's Trade Centre, Dreger said: "Keep an eye on Anaheim and the Philadelphia Flyers. Not saying Bobby Ryan is on the trade block, but it could happen in the offseason." "We know that the Ducks are looking for a center, Couturier's name is in play, that connection could happen if there's a hockey deal." These are just rumors, for now anyway, so I wouldn't read too much into this. Here is the link to TSN Trade Centre, fast forward to the 4:00 mark.

How The Flyers Can Make The Playoffs

from Frank Seravalli of the Philadelphia Daily News, The overall math is simple. The Flyers are almost guaranteed a playoff spot with an 11-4-2 run in their final 17 games. A mark of 11-5-1 will give them a strong chance. They have a prayer at 9-4-4 or 10-5-2. And they're toast at 9-5-3 or worse. This season, it's not necessarily about the Flyers' overall record...

Brendan Smith Fights Bobby Ryan: Video

Flyers Admit They Were Not Ready To Play

from Sam Carchidi of Broad Street Bull, The Flyers played without emotion and dropped a 5-2 decision, slipping into 14th place in the 15-team Eastern Conference, seven points behind the Rangers, who sit in the eighth and final playoff spot. The Flyers should have played each shift with desperation because their playoff lives are hanging by a thread. Instead, they showed...

Bonded In Silver, Numbered To Getzlaf

Dominion, Dominion, Dominion. At this point do I really need to say anything else about my favorite hockey product and the kryptonite to my efforts at restraint when it comes to spending money on cardboard? This bad boy was listed for a short period of time, and by short I mean less than half a day. The moment I saw it sitting there with a surprisingly reasonable Buy-It-Now, I jumped...
