Both NHL.com and Puck Daddy project that Henrik Lundqvist, Dan Girardi, Marian Gaborik and Carl Hagelin (rookie game) will represent the Rangers during All Star weekend. Here's Greg Wyshynski of Puck Daddy on the Girardi projection..."There are some obvious choices here, but to explain the less obvious ones: Girardi is the epitome of the merit-based choice for an All-Star Game. An unsung hero for the Rangers, one of the best teams in the NHL, and a guy who deserves the rub. Plus, maybe his toddler will enter the hardest shot competition."While the Ottawa Senators starters have already been voted in, the remaining rosters will be released tomorrow....what? No Avery?...while these are just projections it's pretty awesome to see Girardi get some love. If nothing else maybe our "Vote for Girardi" campaign at least brought attention on the Rangers star defenseman....h/t to @Landewebshow and Chris R.Remember to follow me on Twitter & Facebook or e-mail me at ...
