TEAMS: Vancouver Canucks, Nashville Predators
A couple of news items as the Predators prepare to face the Vancouver Canucks tonight. Forward Blake Geoffrion (upper body) has been placed on Injured Reserve, per Tom Callahan. Geoffrion sustained the injury Monday night in Edmonton. Also, defenseman Teemu Laakso was placed on waivers, per RDS. That means Roman Josi could be staying with the big club for a while. It could also mean Francis Bouillon's groin injury isn't serious. Laakso has 0 points and a minus-1 rating in nine games this season.
