Danny Briere, Philadelphia Flyers Right-Wing:

Briere has proved time and time again that he is one of the best postseason players in NHL history. The right winger already has eight goals, including an overtime winner against the Devils. Briere always seems to be in the right place at the right time, and capitalizes on every opportunity. The Flyers haven’t scored under three goals this playoffs, in large part to the offensive prowess of Danny Briere.

Mike Smith, Phoenix Coyotes Goalie:

The Phoenix Coyotes do not even have an actual owner, yet they find themselves in great position to advance to the Western Conference Finals (this is the equivalent of the New Orleans Hornets making the Western Conference Finals). The Coyotes do not have a lot of star power, and the average American could probably not name one person on the roster. However, goalie Mike Smith has gotten hot at the right time, leading Phoenix to win after win. He already has two shutouts this postseason, and keeping the Coyotes’ Stanley Cup dreams alive.

Jonathon Quick, Los Angeles Kings Goalie:

Without Quick, the Kings would probably not even be in the playoffs. The Veniza Trophy finalist posted ten shutouts during the regular season, and has continued his dominant play into the playoffs. Quick led the Kings to a series win against the top-seeded Canucks, and now has the Kings in a strong position to take down the second-seeded Blues. Thus Quick has a .948 save percentage to go along with a 1.62 goals against average, only giving up more than two goals once this season (giving up three to the Canucks in their only playoff loss).

Claude Giroux, Philadelphia Flyers Right-Wing:

If you don’t know who Claude Giroux is, you better watch a Flyers’ game. Giroux is in the top tier of hockey players with Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, and Evgeni Malkin. He leads the playoffs with fifteen points, seven goals and eight assists. When the Flyers get on the power play, it is a safe to say that Giroux will be setting up a Philadelphia goal. Not only does he produce for himself, but makes everyone else around him better.
