Found January 13, 2012 on Smashville 24/7:
Saturday night will mark just the second time that former Predators Scott Hartnell and Kimmo Timonen have played in Nashville since leaving. The duo’s negotiating rights were dealt to Philadelphia during the Preds’ fire sale in the summer of 2007, but they are excited to be back in Nashville this weekend.“It actually feels like coming home,” Timonen said on Friday. “I have so many good memories from this rink and this team and the coaching staff. It’s nice. It’s like a second home for me.”Said Hartnell, “Being here as a young kid and growing up here, the city was awesome. The people down here are super nice. I miss the city a lot, but in the hockey world you have to move on sometimes and I love Philadelphia. But it’s real nice to come back here and enjoy the city. I try to come back once each summer for a couple days to get my fill of honky tonks and see some old friends.”Hartnell and Timonen were important pieces for the Preds when they went from expansion team to playoff t...

Tim Panaccio: My Rant on Hartnell

There are not many things Scott Hartnell and I agree on. He likes to get edgy with me and I like to reciprocate. In the absence of Chris Pronger, Hartsy is the only guy in the dressing room to spar with these days. But I truly believe he got royally shafted today when the NHL announced the remainder of its All-Star Team. In virtually any given season, Scott Hartnell is not...

Jaromi Jagr = The Masturbating Bear

This video, courtesy of The700Level by way of Sportress of Blogitude, features future NHL Hall of Famer Jaromir Jagr sitting on the Philadelphia bench, executing A Brother’s Justice on his junk. It’s not clear exactly what he’s doing*, but Scott Hartnell is drinking Gatorade like Camille Crimson to his immediate left, so who knows, maybe that’s how he blows off steam. ...

Bryzgalov Gets the Start as Flyers Face Predators in Nashville

When Flyers' head coach Peter Laviolette chose to stick with "back-up" goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky by giving him the start on Thursday against the New York Islanders, a goalie controversy seemed immanent. However, if you look at the decision more in depth, it makes much more sense. Bobrovsky has very good numbers against the Islanders and was coming off an impressive...

Game 44: Philadelphia @ Nashville: Going Streaking
