When you play the equivalent of almost two games, you've got to be both mentally and physically strong. Here's some quotes from Rangers players on how they gutted through...

Dan Girardi (via Daily News)...

"At that point in the game, the third overtime, guys are dyin' and it doesn't matter how good hands you have or how fast a skater you are. It's how bad you want it, and blocking everything out mentally that you're not tired and you're just gonna keep working. You can't give in, and I don't think we did at all."

Marian Ganorik (via Daily News)...

"It was all in our head. We were talking about we have to push and we have to leave everything out there."

Here's how Marc Staal kept his energy up...

#NYRWsh Staal said he ate 5 bananas in between periods to keep energy up. Of feeling after Gaborik's goal? "I think it was relief, almost"

...Tortorella runs by far the toughest training camp in the league and it paid off last night. You could see the Rangers getting stronger as the game wore on. Without Torts forcing the players to get into shape, not sure last night's victory happens.
