When Derek Stepan blocked that shot last night, and needed help getting off the ice, Ranger-nation held their collective breath. Luckily, Stepan didn’t miss a beat, and was out for his next shift. Clearly there was no damage done to the ankle, or else he would not have come back into the game.

Derek Stepan, who, despite playing with a sore ankle, scored the game winner in the Rangers 4-2 win over Tampa last night, now has 5g, 9a in the Rangers last 15 games....so much for the sophomore slump. It seemed to be a solid night for the New York Rangers last night as the team beat the Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 4-2 for their fifth straight win.
