Columbus Blue Jackets enforcer Jared Boll will have surgery Monday to repair a broken right thumb and miss four to six weeks. Boll, a right wing, suffered the injury landing a punch on Carolina's Bryan Allen in an exhibition game Friday. Boll had seven goals, five assists and 182 penalty minutes in 73 games last season.
