Last spring, Jeff Halpern was battling through an intense, hard-fought playoff series as a member of the Washington Capitals against the Rangers that ended in seven games and bitter defeat. Fast forward to September and Halpern has jumped ship, signed to a one-year deal with New York in the hopes of helping the Rangers be a better team any way he can help.
