It has been a while since Henrik Tallinder has played hockey with the Sabres and I'm sure most fans can tell us the highs and lows about his time in Buffalo. The Washington Capitals have signed defenseman Tyson Strachan, right wing Matt Watkins and goaltender David Leggio to one-year, two-way contracts.
The 28-year-old Strachan played in 38 games with the Florida Panthers last season. He had four assists and 40 penalty minutes.
Strachan has played in 120 NHL games over five seasons with the Panthers and St. Louis Blues.
