Jonathan Quick recorded his league-high fifth shutout of the season by turning aside all 38 shots he faced as the Los Angeles Kings secured their fifth win in seven outings with a 2-0 road triumph over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday.

Trent Hunter and Jarret Stoll both scored for the second time in six contests for Los Angeles, which snapped a six-game losing skid to Chicago while improving to 3-0-1 under new coach Darryl Sutter.

With the Kings clinging to a 1-0 lead, Stoll gave Quick some breathing room just 1:16 into the third period after cleaning up a rebound off Justin Williams' shot and beating Crawford for his fourth goal of the season.

Quick did the rest from there to secure his 19th career shutout and improve to 3-9-1 in his career versus Chicago.

Corey Crawford finished with 36 saves for Chicago, which saw its five-game home winning streak come to an end.
