The Vancouver Canucks made their second player re-signing on Monday, inking pesky checking center Maxim Lapierre to a two-year, $2 million contract.
Lapierre,26, was eligible for restricted free agent status on July 1st. His new deal is a slight raise above the $900K he was earning on his previous deal, though he also gets an extra year.
