On Saturday, as the NHL season finally opened, the Los Angeles Kings rose their first 2011-2012 Stanley Cup banner against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Kings were extremely dominant last year in the playoffs after barely squeaking in as the eighth seed. With a roster that is almost identical to last year, they should be the odds on favorite to win the 2013 Stanley Cup.
