Per TSN 1050's Jonas Siegel, goaltender Jussi Rynnas is being sent back to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. Injured goalie James Reimer will be activated and will likely backup Ben Scrivens tonight against the Montreal Canadiens.
With back to back games the next two nights, Reimer could return to the lineup tomorrow night against the New York Islanders in Uniondale.
Normally, Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phanuef doesn't turn down an invitation to fight an opponent but earlier tonight against the Montreal Canadiens, he did just that.
