Kirk Muller was named the head coach of the Milwaukee Admirals last summer. 17 games into his gig, he was offered the same position but with the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League.Ian Herbers, the Admirals assistant coach for the two seasons prior, took over from there leading his team to their 10th consecutive post season appearance.Today, former NHLer Dean Evason became the AHL affiliates third head coach in 12 months. He has spent the last seven seasons as the assistant coach of the Washington Capitals.Evason is a former teammate of Admirals General Manager Paul Fenton.
