Last night, John Moore got into the first fight of his professional career in the third period and it really seemed to spark the Rangers as they followed it  up with a three goal outburst to end the game... Here's Moore on the fight (via Blueshirts United)... “[Fighting] is kind of a new thing for me. I'm definitely not going to quit my day job, but I'm glad I got it out of the way. I'm happy I was able to handle myself.” ...who knew? LOL. Torts has been looking for some more physicality from Moore recently. Message received I guess. ...Sather is the absolute master of the secondary acquisitions in a trade. See Prust, McDonagh and now Moore. ...the Rangers are now 5-2-1 since the trade deadline and have gotten into a fight in five of those eight games. Coincidence? I think not.
