All the hoopla before Game 4 between the Rangers and Bruins at Madison Square Garden on Thursday revolved around New York coach John Tortorella's decision to make Brad Richards a healthy scratch. Richards is making $12M this year, but only has one goal in the playoffs. He's also a Conn Smythe Trophy winner, AND won the Cup with Torts as his coach when the two were with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004. Oh, the drama! But maybe Torts was right after all. The loud-mouthed coach finally got his Rangers in check to get a win against the Bruins, who won 4-3 in overtime to avoid being swept. After the game, the Richards situation came up again and the coach got very emotional. He said he loved Richards and then he told the media to "kiss his a**." Definitely the highlight of the night.
