Yesterday, I posted some somber news regarding Michael Sauer not even in the conversation for the Rangers this season. Now, Jeff Klein at the New York Times has this from Sauer's agent Ben Hankinson...
“I wish I could give you some kind of timetable on when or if he can come back, but I can’t. Unfortunately it’s still day to day, week to week, month to month. Michael’s condition is still very much an up-and-down thing. We’re hoping for the best, but we just don’t know right now.”
...ugh, that does not sound very encouraging at all. Remember kids, make sure you have your chin strap on when you get on the ice. I don't think it's too far fetched to say that if Sauer just snapped his on, the Rangers might have been playing for the Stanley Cup last Spring.
